Safety is our priority

At J&E Companies, we do not leave safety to chance. Our safety culture focuses on remaining 100% free of injuries, reducing exposure to risks, and sending our employees home safe every single day. We utilize comprehensive employee and foreman training programs led by OSHA-certified instructors. We also have jobsite inspections, checklists, and reporting, as well as project-specific safety plans, pre-task plans, and jobsite hazard analysis (JHA).

Each of these tools help us to ensure that every J&E employee works to add to the safe environment of the projects we participate in. Our commitment includes:

  • Full-time safety team
  • Partner with TEXO safety
  • Allocation of resources and budget to maintain a robust safety program
  • Weekly safety training and communication with all employees
  • Employee training by OSHA-certified instructors to ensure competence in work safety
  • All foremen and superintendents have a minimum of 30-hour OSHA, CPR, and first-aid training
  • Certified equipment operators
  • Certified scaffolding erectors
